Meg Kendell

Meg is our new Foray Master! Meg is a Colorado native whose work and curiosity have taken her across the globe—teaching kindergarteners English in China; managing gem shows in Tucson and Denver; owning a rock shop and traveling to gem shows in New Jersey, North Carolina, Honolulu, and Munich. She loves raising and homeschooling her five children while exploring national parks and natural wonders across the country.
Her interest in mycology began unexpectedly in Maine in 2021, where a colorful flushes of fungi sparked what would become a deep passion for mushroom identification, photography, cultivation, and education. That encounter led her to join the Pikes Peak Mycological Society (PPMS) in 2023, where she quickly became involved as newsletter editor and contributor. This year, she’s expanding into Vice President and also stepping into the role of Foray Coordinator for the Eagle Mushroom Festival.
Meg’s professional work now centers on energy healing, Akashic Records, personalized Life Path bracelets, and psychedelic mentorship, including safe and intentional use of psilocybin. Her interest in the healing potential of psychedelics grew from personal experience navigating grief and PTSD, and has since evolved into a deeply informed and compassionate practice.
